Sir Hector de Maris, Knight of the Fens

Sir Hector de Maris is the younger half-brother of Sir Lancelot, and cousin to Sirs Bors and Lionel; he is an illegitimate son of King Ban of Benwick, who, magically helped by Merlin, fathered him with the Lady de Maris. He is raised by his maternal grandfather Agravadain the Black, lord of the Castle of the Fens.
Another great warrior, he is particularly successful at tournaments, beating renowned knights like Palomedes and Perceval. He also takes part in many adventures with other important knights, including helping Galahad to destroy the Castle of Treachery.
