The Morholt, Champion of Ireland

”King Mark; you know for what purpose I stand before thee. 300 sons and 300 daughters of Cornish stock. Ireland will accept no less.”

The Morholt was brother-in-law to King Anguish of Ireland, a giant, and sometimes his debt collector.

The young Sir Tristan of Cornwall challenged him to a duel over the debt and defeated him, rendering it null.

The Morholt came away from the duel with a piece of Tristans sword lodged in his skull, which slowly killed him and furthered resentment towards Cornwall in Irish royalty.
