King Uther Pendragon of Camelot

Uther Pendragon was king of Camelot and the father of King Arthur.
He was described as a strong king and a defender of his people, though not beyond deception and selfish acts. According to legend, Merlin magically disguised Uther to look like his enemy Gorlois, enabling Uther to sleep with Gorlois' wife Lady Igraine while his troops dispatched the real Gorlois. Thus Arthur, "the once and future king", was born to them an illegitimate child.
